JKR Sarawak has managed to successfully organize the second Safety & Health Forum 2017 at Imperial Hotel, Kuching. In line with the theme of the forum "THINK SAFETY, WORK SAFELY", JKR Sarawak is committed to identify, devise and promote activities to improve industry health and safety standards. Its main objectives are to provide a convergence point for sharing of information and knowledge, identify solutions and stimulate action across the industry to ensure the health, safety and well-being of those working in the industry and those affected by its activities. It works by consensus and partnership, promoting good practice, sharing ideas and solutions.

The Safety & Health Forum 2017 was officiated by YB Datuk Haji Julaihi bin Haji Narawi, Assistant Minister (Coastal Road). This event aims to facilitate the enhancement of OSH in our respective workplaces by inviting distinguished speakers from both the government and private sector to tackle and discuss the latest updates and innovations in the field of occupational safety and health.
